Buo Buo

When I went to China, there was a big cat named Buo Buo. His full name is Deng Xiu Lan Buo. I really enjoyed playing with him, and the main reason for this was that I have never had a furry, actual pet other than fish, which I still don't think count because you can't really do that much with them. On the day we had to say goodbye, I felt kind of glum. I doubt Buo Buo had a clue that I had to leave, but then again, he is old for a cat and has grown much lazier than a sprightly, energetic kitten. However, I still love him, and I recently heard that he has courted with another cat and they have had kittens. I cannot wait to see them, though I do wonder when that will be...

Times

A few days ago I stayed under the water for 63 seconds. It felt really amazing to do it because after I emerged I felt a sense of pride when I heard the disbelief in my Grandmother's voice. I still remember her shock. To this day, I really wonder if she counted right, but I still remember my pride.
Today I hoolahooped longer than I ever did before. Mommy has gotten really good at it, and she can almost go on forever, it seems! She only had to stop to slap a mosquito off her. To watch her flailing like that, it's very humorous. And I still sometimes feel nostalgic for that moment.

Phuket Island in Thailand

I went to Phuket, Thailand. We really had a great adventure there, frolicking on the sandy beaches, checking out the amazing architecture, seeing the natural sights.  We got a hotel  near Patong   beach, which is where I am in the photo. I waited patiently (I think) for almost 30 minutes (or at least I remember it being that long) while a kind lady braided my hair, Thai style. You can see in the picture my short little hair, with the pretty colored beads hanging down. I thought I looked a little silly, but the beads were cool.
I also went to a show called Fantasea. It was really amazing, with the glowing lights and things. I saw lots of Thailand style things. I even have a silly photo of me, posing in the exact way a statue is. I still remember my mom telling me to go like the person behind me. It was a cute moment.
