A Phenomenal Yawn

On Friday, my bus driver yawned a phenomenally big yawn that both startled and humored everyone on the bus. Everybody in the bus laughed, even the bus Auntie, his own wife! Now this sounds really silly, but it was a very interesting yawn because normally the bus Auntie and our bus driver have NO SENSE OF HUMOR. Not that they're mean, but they just aren't the really joking type of fun bus driver every kid longs for. Now you may remember that I was in OFS, so of course, the bus drivers there were definitely different from the bus drivers in my new school.

My Tooth Fell

(DRUMROLL PLEASE) I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT! ............................................................

My tooth fell! If you're thinking why tooth-falling is such a big deal (which you probably are) then it's probably 'cause you don't know. This is my first falling tooth. You remember when you were a little kid and you were so excited/scared/freaked out/ecstatic about your first tooth falling. Now, you probably saw one of my posts it said that I had a wobbly tooth...now it has fallen. I was eating a pancake, and those things aren't even hard. But my tooth was ready....:)

Extended Playdate with Veronica

Last weekend, on Sunday, I trekked (not really) to the famous Singapore Jurong Bird Park with Veronica, my current BFF. Besides seeing some lovely, majestic, dopey, and gorgeous birds. Some of my favorites were: We saw swans in a Swan lake. They were gorgeous, and here's the thing, this bird park has black swans! They have black feathers, and look both evil and majestic and gorgeous at the same time (shiver).

Besides that, we also saw blue-crowned pigeons in the Royal ramble. They were majestic, gorgeous, and kind-of-dopey. Their beautiful crowns shimmered, but they walked oddly..... And, we went to Lory Loft to feed birds (PARAKEETS AND PARROTS!), who nibbled at our containers playfully. Furthermore, we saw a lot of ostriches; their eggs were phenomenally large!

Also, we saw some lovely birds with crests that were absolutely gorgeous; now your probably wondering why I didn't tell you what this lovely birds name was (breath) well, it was because I didn't know it (DUH!).

Oh, and after visiting Bird Park we went to United Square first (before we went home!) to Globetrotters, a fun and awesome restaurant. They have a playground, so me and Vv first played, and then we ate, and finally, we went to buy ice cream!

I have some great/slightly infuriating news today!!!

You see this is my FIRST. WOBBLY. TOOTH. AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE! You see, I am a late person, so lots of my friends have already lost 2 or 3 teeth, and my first one has just become wobbly! Arts and Creativity

Me and my lovely mommy made a lot of cute and artistic things out of paper; origami, sort of. The list goes on, but here are a couple of the things that we made: a cat, two dogs, a house, and a card.
I must admit that my mom is WAY BETTER AT THIS THAN ME, but I hope I will get better, and soon I will override her with my artistic skills! (MWAHAHAHA!) I will hone them, and soon they will get better!!

My New Tooth??

Yesterday, my mommy delivered the news to me, that I'm growing a new tooth! Kind of like a molar, I think. However, the odd thing is that most kids my age are loosing their old teeth, while I'm just up and growing a molar. How odd, heh.....

Fairy Land

Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Allora. One day she was walking in her garden. She was picking beautiful flowers. She had overheard from her mother that her grandmother was ill, so she had decided to pick some lovely flowers for her grandmother so that she would fill better. Suddenly, as she reached toward a lovely garden lilac, a cloud of smoke puffed out, momentarily obscuring her vision. As the silver, mist-like smoke cleared, All saw a fairy, that was very small and minute. She had a sweet face, with a tiny, delicate nose. She was wearing a pretty dress that, at first sight seemed to be made of a gorgeous white fabric, but was actually the petals of a clean white rose.
Slowly, the fairy said "He-he-hello. "

All said: "Who are you?"

"I am Lysette," replied the fairy.
Then, curious, All said: "Where do you come from?"
" Well, I will show you where I come from, but you MUST keep it a secret, okay??!!."

"Yes of course," cried All.
So, Lysette waved her wand and magical teal-colored wings sprouted from Ariel's back. She could hardly believe it! She was a fairy. She had shrunk to Lysette's size, and she was wearing a blue dress, which she discovered was the flower petals of the blue orchid! Then, they flew to Utopia, Lysette's world. Ariel could hardly believe it.

"Ohmigosh! This world is perfect, I bet you don't have to worry about schoolwork, pimples, being popular, or anything!" All cried disdainfully.

Suddenly annoyed, Lysette darted off to her house, which happened to be inside a rosebud. Great. All felt sorry, and apologized. Lysette accepted the apology and told her that she would teach All the first steps of being a fairy. After staying up late, they went to sleep very giggly and bright. However, the next day, they woke up groggy and annoyed. Lysette flew off to school, so All stayed at home, bored.

However, the next thing she knew, a bright blue portal appeared. It spun, and a sleepy voice came out: "Jump in this portal to return to your world, or you will live as a fairy forever........100, 99, 98....." Suddenly scared and flustered, All ran around the room, and finally came up with a leaf and some dew. She messily wrote, "I'm sorry, I have to return. It was nice meeting you, I love you." and dove into the portal. When she came out, she was sitting in the garden, and her mother was looking at her with an unbelievable expression on her face. All turned bright red.

Overseas Family School

Today I had lots of fun in my interesting French class, taught by my teacher. Instead of saying Mrs. or Ms., we say Madame. It is very interesting, and I adore French culture. Today, we learned some French words, that were pretty basic. Here's what I remember:

Chat ~ cat
Chien ~ dog
Oui ~ yes
Non ~ no

What did you do today? And did you have fun doing it???
